TV Couples...
Do you have your favourite?
Uuu...I have mine..
1.Lois and Clark (Smallville)
They are my current favourite. Lois Lane and Clark Kent's relationship has developed slowly over the years from complete strangers, bickering friends, dynamic partners and finally romantic lovers. Even though for some people they prefer for Clark to be with Lana but hey...that's not the fictional fact. Although it took 10 seasons to finally bring these two to their inevitable coupling, it was worth the wait.
2.Ross and Rachel (Friends)
Probably the most iconic TV couple in recent memory and who can forget their first kiss in Central Perk? Never did we want two people to get together more than Ross and Rachel. He’s loved her since they were in high school, and she finally realizes, after many misfires, that he is her soul mate.
3.Sydney and Vaughn (Alias)
Dating is hard enough. But the bright side for us common folk is that we don't have to worry about espionage groups keeping us apart, not to mention trying to kill us, like Sydney and Vaughn did. Let's not even mention the lost two years, fake identity, kidnapping and wife/saboteur. At least they end up happily ever after with their daughter-in-spy-training.
4.Pacey and Joey (Dawson's Creek)
Poor Dawson. For a guy whose name is in the show title, things didn't really work out for him. The teen drama ultimately revolved around Joey and Dawson never got the girl in the end. Not that we're complaining. Pacey and Joey's relationship always had more spark and sizzle than Dawson and Joey's angst-ridden infatuation.
5.Veronica and Logan (Veronica Mars)
They were enemies who became on-again, off-again lovers and they forced each other to grow up. Our perfect heroine was made to confront her assumptions about Logan, and Logan was pushed to act like a man. It wasn’t a perfect shiny happy relationship, but for Logan and Veronica it reflected more of what I think real life is like for young people who are discovering love while still figuring out who they are as people.
6.Buffy and Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
What better example of a couple who are constantly drawn together, but keep destroying each other? Buffy and Spike begin as enemies, become uneasy allies, become stalker-and-his-stalkee, become lovers, become enemies again. So complicated..and we are fascinated. Should they be together? No, of course not. They are terrible together. But we are endlessly fascinated.
7.Sawyer and Juliet (Lost)
There were many couplings on the twisty “Lost,” but none of them held as much resonance as the love story between Sawyer and Juliet, who found each other under some very unusual circumstances.
8.Rory and Logan (Gilmore Girls)
My oh my..they didn't end up together (remember that 'No' moment after Logan proposed to Rory) but still i like the flow of their story especially during the beginning of their relationship. Too bad..
9.Ryan and Taylor (The OC)
Their romance played like a screwball romantic comedy, revealing a lighter side to Ryan and "The O.C." With Marissa gone, Ryan slowly emerged from the doom and gloom of seasons past and began to smile every once and a while. The cause of said smiling? The neurotic and funny Taylor Townsend. Although extremely different people, Ryan and Taylor complemented each other. She dulled his edges while he calmed her eccentricities.
10.Michael & Sara (Prison Break)
Another couple who didn't end up together but this time around..because the other person died. Their relationship was tense but they have their memorable moments especially during the first season of Prison Break. Poor Michael..
11.Helo & Sharon (Battlestar Galactica)
Science fiction relationship..for some..BORING and i was previously in that same category. But, after coincidentally watched the first episode of Battlestar regarding their relationship..i was glued to see them. He was fully committed to their relationship and sworn to protect her (well..she's a cylon) and their baby at all costs. His devotion cost him nearly everything, including his life, but he stood firmly by Sharon's side, even when she, in despair over their child's apparent death, told him to get lost.
12.Lucas and Peyton(One Tree Hill)
Lucas has loved Peyton since childhood, and begins to get to know her after she breaks up with his half brother, Nathan Scott. However..in the end, they end up together. Sweet..
13.Mick & Beth (Moonlight)
This is not a tv version of Twilight or New Moon. But..it was one of the best version when it comes to the paranormal genre. So we know just how much Mick cares for Beth, he looked after her from a distance for 22 years and has been sort of her guardian angel. But can they continue to have romantic relations with one another whilst Beth is mortal? This is really "love against all odds" in every sense of the word.
So..i have 13 on my list and it could be more than that actually..but these TV couples are definitely my favorite and it has derived me to look forward for its upcoming episodes every week.
