My BF journal..so far..

Yes..i'm back at work..(it has been 2 weeks already)..

..it means that..i'm back at being a fully breastfeed working mother.

..it means that..there'll be more 'lack of sleep' issue.

..it means that..i need to always remind myself 'chaiyok chaiyok..'.

So, there it goes..

My Journal

4.30am - Usually, Emyr will wake up at this hour and i will BF him for almost 20 minutes; Then, i will change his diaper

5.00am - Next..change Hayra's diaper

5.15am - Double check on hayra's bag (..the one that i will give to my mom in law); wash all the used bottles; hang our wet clothes/ fold the dry clothes



6.00am - Pump for Emyr's FBM with my medela harmony (Well..freshly expressed breastmilk may be kept at room temperature for up to 10 hours..so, emyr will be able to drink his fresh milk); Put it next to the warmer so that my mom will know that's the fresh one; Wash my medela harmony.



6.15am - Prepare myself to the office and packed 2 of the most important things for my EBM activitivies which are my Fridge-to-go & 4 empty EBM bottles inside my Harrods shopper bag.


6.30am - Direct BF Emyr before i go to work

6.55am - Ready to my in-laws house because my mom-in-law will look after hayra

7.00am - Start the engine

7.10am - Arrive at my in-laws house

8.00am - Arrive at MOF and put all the pump accessories at my special station which is..under the table..:-)


12.30pm - First session of my EBM stock..using my other breast pump which is the medela mini electric plus(..with my 16 hours Fridge-to-go..there'll be no need for me to put my EBM inside the office fridge and with me..having 2 sets of medela mini electric plus breast shields..i just need to wash all the breast pump accessories..later in the evening).

5.30pm - Second session of my EBM stock; Wash all breast pump parts

6.30pm - Pick Hayra at my in-laws house

7.15pm - Off to my parents house

7.30pm - The first thing that i will do is..arranging my EBM; i will take 2 frozen EBM from the freezer and 2 fresh EBM from my fridge-to-go inside the refrigerator.

Then..time to direct breastfeeding my son and entertain my daughter..at the same time (..coz recently, hayra can be extremely jealous of emyr).

10.00pm - Put both of them to sleep; Do some laundry and if i still have the energy..i will wait and hang the clothes; Prepare for hayra's stuff; Wash their bottles as well as my EBM bottles; make sure that i'll bring enough diapers to our room for changing purpose and after that, i'll go to sleep.

Fiyuhhh..

..that's the arrangement at my parents house..emyr will be with my mom and hayra with my mom-in-law. It will be slightly a different arrangement when we're at my in-laws house coz my mom-in-law will look after both of them..hayra & emyr.

..in terms of my EBM stock..i have 150plus right now..Alhamdulillah. However, i'm in a headache stage to think on the ample and enough space to spare for my EBM inside the fridge. Fortunately, my mom-in-law got a deep freezer so i put most of my EBM inside it.



..i know that some of you out there might have their own opinion regarding this arrangement of mine, but at the end of the day..the most important thing is..emyr will continuously get his mother's milk.

I'm so lucky that my mom and his mom are helping me a lot in taking care of our children. Sometimes, they will wash the bottles..they will hang our wet clothes..they will fold our dry clothes..i don't have to cook..and there is no need for me to cook for hayra's solid food anymore.

Hence, I know that my mom is right..we need to find a maid..but with our 2-weeks-here-2 weeks-there living arrangement..it will be impossible to hire one right now..maybe later..once we settle in at our new home.

Then, to send both of them to the nursery..that's a no-no statement for now coz they are still very small.

..but..with the Economic Report and Budget 2012 are coming into its critical stage of preparation..which will demand me to come back home at wee hours..i just hope and pray that i am fully prepared physically and mentally.

I'm sure that i will have some emotional moments for the lack of time that i will spend with both of them..

..well..i just need to be patient..until 7 october 2011..the National Budget Day itself..then off we go for our meaningful vacation.
