Aidilfitri 2012
Warghh..this is my 1st post in August..such a long hiatus. Well, I've been busy with work this month...crazy busy. Yet, let me share with you my Aidilfitri story.
First Day
It was hubby's turn this year so we're going to celebrate Raya in Muar. Due to certain circumstances, hubby's dad suggested that we went back after Sembahyang Sunat Aidilfitri. So, after both hubby and dad-in-law came back from the mosque, we had a quick photo session before we started our almost 2 hours journey to Muar. Thanks to mom-in-law who made the baju kurung and baju melayu for Hayra and Emyr.
Then, at almost 1pm, we started our journey to the south. We thought that the road would be silky smooth but how wrong we were. We didn't go straight to Tanjung Gading, Muar because we planned to sleep at Paradise Malacca Village in Ayer Keroh, using hubby's share with Leisure Holiday. We reached there at about 3.30pm.
After we ate ketupat with mom-in-law's chicken curry, we proceeded to Tanjung Gading.

After we ate ketupat with mom-in-law's chicken curry, we proceeded to Tanjung Gading.
At almost 11pm, we reached Ayer Keroh and we went straight to bed to rejuvenate our energy for tomorrow's mission.
Second Day
At 10.30am, we started our Raya mission to visit relatives from dad and mom-in-law's side.
After we completed our Raya chapter in Muar, at 1.30pm, we started another new Raya chapter in Batu Pahat. I noticed that the children were really tired during the journey from Muar to Batu Pahat. Luckily that they slept through out the journey because we were stuck in massive traffic in Pagoh for quite some time.
Once we reached Batu Pahat, my mom told me to go straight to Makcik Timah's house. Both Hayra and Emyr were so happy to see their Tok and Opah as well as their Pak Ngah and Pak Su.
Next, we proceeded to Nenek Jemah's house. Hayra was so engrossed when she saw the badminton racquet. She tried to mingle with the little boys but they got a little bit out-of-patient when it took such a long time for her to serve the shuttlecock. In the end, we managed to stop her with a promise that her atok would get a new badminton set for her. As for Emyr, he enjoyed himself and he was so happy to see his second cousin, Balqis a.k.a Pakcik Mopia and Makcik Miah's cute granddaughter.
Then, it was almost 7pm and we have to get back to Kampung Istana for tonight's barbeque event at my nenek's house. But, before we reached Kampung Istana, we had a quick stop at BP Mall to buy a new badminton set for Hayra. At 8.30pm, the makan-makan event started.
My mom suggested me to sleep at Pakcik Mat's house due to the fact the it was really packed and full at my nenek's house. We did follow her suggestion and thanks to Pakcik Mat and Makcik Linda for welcoming us to sleep at their new, big and beautiful house.
Third Day
Early in the morning, Hayra demanded me to handover her racquet and later, she went outside the house and played badminton with her uncles and aunt a.k.a Pakcik Mat's and Makcik Ton's children.
As for the Raya activity, we just went to Pakcik Isal's house that night.

Fourth Day
There was no specific Raya activity for today. However, we were so happy to see Pakcik Mamat and his family who came all the way from Singapore just to visit us in Batu Pahat. Thank you guys.
Later in the evening, hubby wanted to try his new toy which he bought at BP Mall - a mini helicopter. As for the children, they had a good time running here and there at Pakcik Mat's house.

Fifth Day
It was time to go home and back to reality. We started to move at 10am and reached Ampang at 12.30pm. Thank you everybody for such a wonderful Aidilfitri this year.
