Madrid - The last night

We reached the same hotel at 6.30pm and later we went straight to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium to buy some last minute souvenirs.

After that, we used the metro and headed to Callao, just to buy another last minute souvenirs and in the end, we were in Sol.

When we settled in the hotel, Hayra wasn't feeling that well. She was starting to vomit again and i was worried because tomorrow, we would be back to Malaysia with another 13 hours journey. We made the decision to call Intan at 11.30pm. At 12am plus, Intan came and we went straight to La Zarzuela Hospital, a private hospital in Madrid. The result came at about 1am and the doctor told us that she has a virus infection in her stomach. At almost 3am, we were back in the hotel.

It's time to go back!!

At 10am, the airport transfer came. Bye bye Madrid.

We checked-in at the airport at about 11am. Once we were there, there were 2 Spaniards who were so generous (konon nyer) to help us with the bags. We said 'No no' and yet, they took the trolley and brought our bags straight to the Emirates counter. They asked for 10euro for each person..so i have to pay 20euro for their unwanted service. We thought that for our safety, we just need to pay them. (..tak suka betul).

After we took a light lunch, we have another 35 minutes to the gate. We stopped for a while at some of the shops and at first i didn't have the intention to buy a handbag because i thought that i wanted to buy the Longchamp bag in Dubai. However, the price was really cheap and hubby told me just to buy the bag.

Then, we have to rush to the gate and once we were there, it was a last call for the passengers in the EK142. Fiyuhhh. Alhamdulillah.

It was a good decision making by hubby to ask me to buy the handbag because i failed to find any Longchamp outlet at the Dubai Airport during our transit in Dubai.

The flight journey from Madrid to Dubai was good. Hayra was getting better, even though she was still very weak. However, the flight from Dubai to Kuala Lumpur (which was a transit for Emirates to Australia) was the worst from the rest of our Emirates experience. It might be because the crew wasn't from any of the Asian or European countries. So, the 'friendly' definition could be different to them.

Wow..at last..i manage to recall back all the memories and share with you this precious experience of mine. Well, this Spain vacation was awesome. Segovia and Alhambra were the best places, while the Albaicin tour was the worst.

To Intan - Thank you so so so much for everything that you have done for us. Thank you Thank you Thank you. While hugging you at 3am in the morning that day, i was almost in tears for the sacrifice that you were willing to do for my daughter. You're such a good friend and i love you for that. Hope that we can spend time together during your visit to Malaysia. Do call me okay...:-)

So, that was the wrapped up story of my Spain travelogue. Enjoy

Your travelogue is superb! Poor Hayra, glad that she got better the next day. It's really heartbreaking when we see our kids fall sick rite. But we gotta be strong and not panic. Can't wait to see your la casa next... hehe.

hah. i hate that kind of experience - referring to the two trolley guys yang tak faham bahasa lepas tuh mintak-mintak duit.

kena jugak dengan orang2 mcm tuh kan? when we were in madrid, we got mugged. almost twice (because the second time, they were asking to see our wallets because they think we kept our drugs there). entah apa-apa entah.

anyways, awesome trip eh? :) you nak i recommend pi tempat lain pulak ke? hahahahaha.
