10 years in service...
Time flies so fast...
Today..16 April 2011..it marked my 10 years service as a government servant...
Recently, i checked my service book and i looked at the first entry of this book. Perghh..i almost forgot the date..and the book is now reaching to its 5th volume..fiyuhh..(tebal gak dah ye buku service teman)
Wow, it has been 10 years and lots of things had happened..
Let's take a walk down to my memory-working lane..
16 April 2001...Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ)
That was the first place that introduced me to the world of government servant. I was there for 3 years and 7 months as an Account Assistant. Being responsible with the council's payments and budget..i got the opportunity to get to know with so many people in MPAJ. All the goods and the not-so good experiences..i learned from this place..thank you kak liza, kak zack, kak hana and many more for the sweet sweet memories. Another thing, i got arwah Pn. Khairun as my boss..(Puan..you're the best boss so far up till now..i will always remember you in my heart..thank you for always giving me good advice..Al-Fatihah..)
20 December 2004...Kementerian Pembangunan Usahawan & Koperasi (MECD)
That was my first ministry as a Pegawai Tadbir & Diplomatik or else known as PTD officer..started with PTD M41 scheme. I was happy being attached here even though it was not a popular or a big ministry..not like MOF, MITI or WISMA. But..reality check..i was really happy with my friends in MECD even though it was just for 2 years and 4 months. Thanks to Kak Sahida and Kak Tipah..my gossip partner for cheering me up everyday when i was with Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor..
1 April 2007..Kementerian Kewangan (MOF)
I got promoted from PTD M41 scheme to PTD M44..never thought that i would be send by Public Service Department aka JPA to this big ministry. I was really blessed and honoured. Well, being from a small ministry coming to this ministry, you would appreciate it so much. With MOF, i got the opportunity to meet face to face with some of the top people of the country..such as the Prime Minister and his wife, Tan Sri Zeti, Tan Sri Zarina, Datuk Yusli, Dato' Nazir Razak and so many more.
It has been 4 years now..my longest service..so far at one place. Will it be longer than that or my path will be change again to another place?..i will never know. After being promoted again in 2009 to PTD M48 and being responsible handling the capital market..i can say that i'm still not fully satisfied..i think that i can give more but i don't know how..and i didn't feel as happy as i was with MPAJ or MECD but i'm still happy..happy that i have 2 good, dedicated and promising assistants with Shariffudin and Baity, happy that my section people is cool enough to accept me as their clan member and happy that hubby is with me all the time. The unhappy part..mmm..got a few..but bygones..
And of course..MOF will always have a special place in my heart..coz i met my husband here..:)
And..i am blessed to get such beautiful rooms too..:)

2004 - Unit Perancangan Pelaksanaan Program dan Projek Pembangunan, Bahagian Program dan Projek Pembangunan, Kementerian Pembangunan Usahawan & Koperasi
2005 - Unit Pembaharuan, Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor, Kementerian Pembangunan Usahawan & Koperasi
2007 - Unit Penawaran, Seksyen Makro, Bahagian Analisa Ekonomi & Antarabangsa
2009 - Unit Pasaran Modal, Seksyen Kewangan, Bahagian Analisa Ekonomi & Antarabangsa
Mmm..looking at my working portfolio..i was fortunate enough to be exposed to few sectors during my service to the government..so far. Sometimes..i just hope that i can be much more longer in one unit especially in the policy division..let say for 4-5 years so that i can have better knowledge in analysing things.
But then...Alhamdulillah..i'm still blessed with what has been planned for me by Allah yang Maha Esa..
